How to stop anxiety?

Anxiety is an agitated state of mind that is triggered by situational influences and lack of knowledge and awareness in the people. All people suffer from anxiety from time to time. It may not be possible to completely stop anxiety from occurring but it is definitely possible to minimize its occurrences. It is also possible to cope with anxiety with the help of adequate preparation and readiness. The most important reason for anxiety attack is the fear of failure, embarrassment and ridicule. These fears may or may not be rational.  But, they are one of the primary triggers for anxiety. People must try to understand this fear and must try to address and overcome it. Sleep is an efficient stress reliever. Relaxation exercises and techniques can also help people in relieving their stress. Anxiety can be caused by negative thought process and prolonged negativity is bound to be reflected as an anxiety or panic attack. Keeping the mind positive can be achieved by exercise, good eating habits and mind control techniques. It is also important to keep the company of positive minded people. Human mind is easily influenced, so, positive people influence others positively and vice versa.
